* Black Pacha

We are inspired by many things in the natural world and find meaning in the history of indigenous cultures and combine these elements with unique contemporary design. We challenge each other within our process and compliment each other’s strengths as we learn and collaborate together.

Our vision for Black Pacha is to continue to evolve in our design and practice creating high quality, beautiful and powerful works.Black Pacha is the artistic collaboration between Bachy and Siobhan Chazarreta.

Our  history is a real love story; a journey of two artists, from literally opposite sides of the world who  find each other in 2007, fall in love in the powerful Amazon jungle and commit to a life of discovery, creation and growth together. Our partnership is founded on our mutual love for artistic expression, beauty and each other.

We are driven by the pleasures found in working with the innate energies found in natural objects.  All special objects which we incorporate into our pieces have been hand collected with the utmost respect for the environment and cultures in which they were sourced. We highly respect all materials we choose to use and have formed a connection with every stone, seed, fossil and natural object that has been collected on our travels and life experiences. This personal connection in turn inspires and directs our design process.
