Raewyn Walsh | Stanley Street Gallery

Raewyn Walsh

As a universal motif, rocks speak to ancestry, collecting, memory, and material -though the rock says nothing until we story it with our own narratives.  The idea that we animate the inanimate is part of my story.

Raewyn Walsh is a jeweller who lives and works in Auckland, New Zealand. She participated Handshake2 and Handshake3 - the mentoring programme initiated by Peter Deckers, and maintains a workshop alongside other artists from a variety of disciplines
