Lottie Braun: Statement

As she grapples with her cultural identity as neither fully Australian or fully Papuan, Lottie searches for home through layers of paint and clay, intuitively building up and taking away until her own full yet intangible world appears. She paints to create landscapes that call to find peace in the feeling of being lost and is an ode to the undying hope we all have in our individual journeys to belonging and feeling whole.
